During our stay in Paris, on recommendation, we had dinner. The dishes are hearty. The kitchen is good. The value-for-price ratio is to be emphasized. There was a little rum in the caipi. This is an address I keep for my next visits to the capital
I went to this restaurant yesterday to gather my family and my beautiful-family. Although it was not a nightmare, several aspects require improvements. First of all, most servers are not smiling, giving the impression that customers are a burden before even speaking to them. Regarding the order, we asked for a tray for three people (depending on the map, but for four people), as well as a tray of pork meat and a tray of veal meat. On our six-person table (four women and two men), the two meat trays seemed excessively loaded for one person each. When asked, a waitress said that each tray was for one person, while another server specified that a tray was for two people. I explained that during the order, I told the waitress that each tray was for a person. Although that could be understandable, a waiter with glasses began to contradict me, taking me as a fool in front of my family. Despite my explanations, he persisted, and we finally refused the calf tray. The waitress who took the order whispered that I had been asked to order a dose for each tray. For a clearer logic, a dose should be equivalent to one client and two doses to two clients. However, the restaurant seems to adopt a different logic, with a half-dose for a customer and a dose for two customers, which is not understandable. If the waitress had difficulties taking the order, she should have left the place to another server. It is regrettable that smiles don't buy, because it was very lacking. Although life is hard, it's their business, then a smile would be welcome, and that applies to all servers. On my way home, I found on the bill that the calf tray was mentioned instead of the pork tray. It seems that the restaurant deliberately charged the most expensive tray, although it was not consumed. Despite a difference of a few euros, it says a lot about the restaurant and how to proceed. It's a shame because food is not as bad as some comments claim it. However, severe criticisms focus on service, which is truly deplorable.
