What a fantastic find in Faison! Excellent food and even better prices. It is home cooking by a cook that has that extra special touch. The best fried shrimp I have had in a long time. The Bright Leaf hot dogs will bring back your childhood. French fries crispy and fresh. Not too far off NC 40 if you want a good meal to go rather than the fast food places. So glad to have such a great restaurant nearby!

Awesome staff, great food, and very clean comfortable location we found on our way home. Perfect example of good quality food and customer service! I had the hamburger steak with rice and gravy.....it was perfect! All the food was perfectly seasoned. I have to say it’s well worth the drive from Elm City, NC to enjoy a quick delicious and filling meal here!!! Thank you’ll for making this quick find well worth the dollar and the time!!!!

Amazing find!!! Just happened to stop by on the way back to Raleigh and was highly impressed by the fried shrimp, coleslaw and potato salad. Honestly some of the best shrimp I have had and I consider myself a picky foodie. The coleslaw is THE best I have ever tasted...chopped well and with some special seasonings. Oh, did I mention the hush puppies? Top notch too! I think the owners might want to charge more so they can afford to stay in business. I hope we all are able to eat here for years to come. Thank you for the fantastic meals!!
