Portobello - Faisalabad

I had heard a lot about this place from a colleague so had to try out myself. Anyway, went there, and although we had a prior reservation, we had to wait for a solid 20 minutes to get to our reserved table. And behold! the dirty table. It took ages for the server to arrive and clean it. No napkins, no glasses or water whatsoever even after we placed the order. The waiter went missing for around 30 minutes. Finally the order arrived. Mine being chicken steak with a side of mashed potato and a glass of margarita. Although it was the safest option to order, they still messed it up. The steak was raw, and portion size was average. Same went for the beef steak. Unevenly cooked, medium instead of medium rare. The only better dish was chicken a la Kiev. Margaritas were too salty. The taste was average. Nothing extraordinary. I 'd say it 's overrated and overpriced for sure given their service and food quality Don 't waste your money folks!!

I recently tried the mutton joint at Portobello and was blown away by its tenderness, taste, quality and quantity. The meat practically melted in my mouth as I took a bite, and every bite was full of flavorful juices. It was obvious that the quality of the meat was top-notch, as it was not only tender, but also full of texture and rich flavors. The quantity was also impressive, as I found myself savoring each bite of the generous portion. It was evident that the chef took great care in preparing the meat, perhaps by slow cooking or marinating it to ensure optimal tenderness and flavor. Overall, everything we ordered dish at Portobello was an absolute delight to experience. The tenderness, taste, quality and quantity all combined to create a truly delicious meal. If you're a meat lover, this restaurant is definitely not to be missed.

Waited half an hour for Dynamite Prawns as starter and they served it cold. Cold and Soggy

Very good experience to have lunch here. Food is so tasty. Various food variety but a little bit pricey. Ambience is also fine. Service, cleanliness and cutlery is also acceptable. Recommended
