Whistle Hop Brewing Company - Fairview

Great little stop after hiking Bearwallow Mountain Trail. The beers were great and there was a lot to do for the kids! They created a cool atmosphere with old trains. Only notes were the long lines creating slow service and, while they put a ton of work into cool things to do, it didn't seem like they maintained them too well. Still 5* for sure.

Whistle hop somehow manages to brew the most interesting beers that always taste amazing. and if you've never had mead before, you should absolutely try any of their flavors!

There is good reason for all the high ratings! Because it is so much fun!!! We stopped by as a must stop for John- he loves trains and craft beer, so it was a no brainer. John's sister also highly recommended stopping by. They were having a little craft fair, plus they have mini golf, a tube slide big enough for grownups, a Connect Four Flying Disk game and more! Basically, come and play. This was a huge hit for friends and families and even though they were quite busy- there was so much space that you didn't feel crowded. They even had live music inside. I mean- they just hit it out of the caboose!

Cutest little brewery in Fairview! Great food truck options, and amazing pizza right across the street (Sky Mountain Pizza)! They have mini golf, a soccer area, and slide for the kids! As well as tons of different seating areas. Both the house sours they had on tap were phenomenal, and the bar tenders are so hospitable and happy to answer any questions you have! Will definitely be back!

This is a cool place but the staff is not. The brewery is kid friendly but the staff is not. We were treated very poorly when trying to arrange for our kids to play mini golf. We were told to watch our freaking kids and the bar back refused to swap out golf ball colors. They are very cliquey with each other and were always caught in personal conversations when they should have been practicing excellent customer service. The beers are mediocre so the main reason to go here is to give the kids a chance to run around. But considering how poorly the staff acts now, we will take our business to the thousands of other breweries in the area.
