Steak Escape - Fairmont

I’m a big fan of Steak Escape and usually stop by whenever I’m in the area. The staff was friendly, but there were some serious execution issues. I ordered the Ultimate Escape, but it arrived without the peppers or mushrooms I had specifically requested and confirmed with the employee. Additionally, the lettuce, tomato, and mayo I asked for were completely left off. It took 25-30 minutes to get my food, and I overheard the staff telling another customer that they were out of peppers and mushrooms as well. In the end, only 3 out of 8 ingredients made it onto my sandwich, which is simply not acceptable for a $20 meal. The steak, cheese, and onions were decent, but overall, the experience was quite disappointing.

Recently visited this location and was a little disappointed by the experience.The staff were extremely friendly and patient, but the wait time was around 30 minutes for takeout. Although this isn't obscene, it wasn't quite what I expected. Two or three patrons left in frustration at their wait as well, so it seemed to not matter what was ordered. I think if there was a possibility of one or two additional staff members on shift, the visit would have been much better.Unfortunately, when coupled with the price and the actual quality of the food, the experience just wasn't as palatable as I hoped.Seeing as others have had positive experiences, I'm hoping this was just a bad night.
