The cheese on my dish wasn't even melted; it was just slapped on. I also didn't get a coffee refill, which I had to ask for multiple times and ended up having to track down the servers. When I walked out, my shoes stuck to the floor and made a noise, clearly indicating it wasn’t clean. It felt like the staff could use more training. Overall, it was such a disappointing experience that I felt like I was in a rough part of Philly. I don't think I'll be returning.
At the beginning of June, I even noticed two female servers chatting in a separate room while looking directly at me, but they didn’t break their conversation until I stepped closer and stared at them. The pancakes were another major disappointment. During all three visits, they were incredibly thin and fell apart when I tried to spread butter on them. They seemed almost inflated with air. The syrup was nothing short of appalling; it was so watery that it looked as though I had poured water onto my napkin to check its consistency. I even tried syrup from another table, which was much better. I can only give this place two stars, mainly because the rest of the food was acceptable and, on my third visit, my server actually asked if I needed anything and promptly brought my check. However, during my second visit, I and others waited about ten minutes just to be seated. It felt like we could have left without anyone noticing. What is going on at this IHOP? It’s disappointing to see it decline like this.
I visited this restaurant with my family for Father's Day breakfast, and we waited an astounding 1.5 hours for our order to arrive. I understand it was a busy day, but such a long wait is unacceptable. To make matters worse, I noticed several families who arrived after us being served before we even got our meal. I was there with a pregnant woman, a toddler, and two older parents, which made the delay even more frustrating. I would have given a 1-star rating, but I’ll give it 2 stars because the servers did provide us with some fruit and onion rings while we waited. However, waiting nearly 2 hours for a meal is simply not worth it. I won’t be returning.
Ashley B had a bad attitude. Their customer service focused more on their employee than their customers. So I left him to type them. She was immediately abrupt, she never asked if the order was fine, never to see if we needed anything else to mention refills. I was four people deep and asked for coffee and water. Ashley brought 2 coffees and 2 water. I suppose we had to choose who has what because she didn't come back until she came to see if we wanted the check. I went around to search for creamers. You have a BAD DAY PLEA STAY HOME
Sketchiest ihop I?ve ever been to. Bad service! I was lied to told no wait time when i called in 5 min prior to arriving still had to wait 25 minutes to be seated! After ordering i waited 50 minutes to get served. Excuse was the kitchen messed up! Food was served with everything wrong. Food tasted horrible. Waitress tried to make me happy thats the only reason for 2 stars.
