Del Taco - Fairfield

Del Taco is the fast food chain that I love the most. The food tastes like it's made fresh. I love the fish tacos, shrimp tacos (when they're in season), the chicken soft tacos on Thursday nights, and the fries. It's my go-to spot when I want to indulge in some nostalgic comfort food.

I have never been let down by this Del Taco. They really know how to make their Beyond Meat tacos perfectly, topped with a slice of fresh avocado. The service is quick, the restaurant is always clean, and there is hot sauce on every table.

Del Taco is one of my favorite places to eat, right behind Chipotle. I visited a couple of days ago and was disappointed to find out they no longer offer their seasonal shrimp tacos. Instead, I decided to try something new and ordered their barbecue crispy chicken tacos, which were incredibly delicious. I also tried their fried cheesecake or cream cheese rolls for the first time, along with a side of curly fries and a Dr Pepper - it was a great meal. The drive-through service was quick and pleasant. I have been here for lunch before and it was quite busy, but this time I was lucky and had a smooth experience.

One of the few fast food places with vegan options, truly designed to be vegan unlike the unsatisfactory delete options at Taco Bell. My one complaint would be the chili type spice they add to the Beyond Meat, where they're trying to satisfy the stereotypical American view of what Mexican food should be. It would be nice if were an option. Friendly staff at this location!

Service was fast and great. Asked for no tomatoes recieved no tomatoes. They asked if we wanted tomatoes removed from this other food item I didnt know had tomatoes just to make sure our order was right. 5/5 great. Tipped $2 will stop by again someday if I drive through that area.
