Contribuiți la feedbackI had always seen Bonchon in various locations and was eager to try the Korean trend of chimek, so my excitement was high when I finally visited this place. We ordered some beer along with two appetizers: takoyaki, which I found to be decent, and pork buns, which weren't my favorite. The pork bun had a peculiar taste, almost like it had been frozen. For the main course, we decided on the half-and-half medium fried chicken, served with fries and pickled radish, and it was fantastic! We chose spicy and something sweet—possibly honey? We dove into the meal so quickly that we almost forgot to take pictures of the chicken (oops!). Overall, it was a great experience combining beer with fried chicken, and our waitress was very friendly. If you're looking for what they really excel at, definitely come here for their delicious fried chicken!
The spicy chicken is absolutely delicious and perfectly crispy. I also tried the japchae, which I really enjoyed. The staff were incredibly friendly and frequently checked in on us, which was lovely, especially since we were seated outside in a quiet corner.
I enjoy exploring new restaurants, and this visit was delightful. We ordered the drumsticks, Korean chicken tacos, bulgogi, and bibimbap. I would recommend starting with the drumsticks—they're crunchy, juicy, and packed with flavor. The Korean chicken tacos had just the right level of spiciness. My second favorite was the bulgogi; the sesame really tied the dish together. My least favorite was the bibimbap. Although it looked great, it lacked the flavor that the other dishes had. However, mixing in some of the bulgogi with the bibimbap enhanced the overall taste. I will definitely return to try more items from the menu!
I love their fried chicken. Korean tacos were delicious. The staff is super nice and courteous. Amazing food overall.
I definitely enjoyed myself. The menu is a lot different then I remember. But that was BC (before covid). However the fried chicken they are famous for are definitely still there. I love the soy garlic and the sweet crunchy. This time round I got the half and half. Spicy and sweet. I also had a slamming Watermelon Margarita
