Tony's Ny Pizza - Fairfax

I am not sure why this restaurant receives high ratings from locals, as I have found better options around. I ordered delivery from here a few months ago and received a pizza with pepperoni and extra cheese. Unfortunately, the delivery took longer than expected and the pizza was cold upon arrival. If that pizza was supposed to have extra cheese, I would hate to see what the regular amount is. I have visited the restaurant a couple of times with friends and tried the meatball sub, which was disappointing.

If you're expecting a top-notch meal prepared by a skilled New York chef, you'll be disappointed. What you'll actually get is a pizza made by someone who may not have a lot of experience, but knows what tastes good. While the lack of expertise with premium ingredients may be noticeable, the final product is still satisfying. I could probably show their pizza cook a thing or two about using anchovies, as it seems like they could use some guidance in that area.

Time pay more attention to the quality of your food before serving it to customers. Thank you.

After viewing pictures of the pizzas on the reviews I decided to give this place a try since I'm visiting the area and it looked like they didn't skimp out on ingredients like other places. Not a great decision. I got the 16 inch half half NY with meat lovers on one side and Tony's special on the other. As you can see the pizza I got is definitely not worth $25. I feel cheated. I'm dissapointed that you can look at this picture and say it is how your pizzas should be.
