Jinya Ramen - Fairfax

There are at least three vegan options available at this restaurant. The Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen was fantastic, as was the Tadai-ji cocktail (Tequila Basilikum). This review was last updated on January 21, 2023.

The restaurant at the Mosaic District recently relocated a short distance to new outdoor seating areas. The service was quick and friendly, and the outdoor seating was comfortable. The two lawn dishes we ordered were hot and generously portioned, but not too spicy. The noodles with tofu and vegetables were delicious. However, the tacos made with "impossible meat" were quite salty. The watermelon cucumber drinks were also delicious. When we tried to dine inside, we had a hard time hearing each other over the loud background music, but it was much quieter at the outdoor tables.

If I could give this place 5 stars, I would. Get the vegan ramen- it is warm, filling, tasteful, and just everything around wonderful. You can also do take-out

Enjoy the spicy creamy vegan with gluten-free noodles. I often come to her and ask for extra spy to turn the heat up.

I tried the spicy creamy ramen, but it wasn't very spicy or hot. It was more on the warm side. Despite that, I thought it tasted good. However, the portion size was a bit small for the price. The restaurant had outdoor seating and the staff was decent. I was pleased to see they had three vegan ramen options. *Note: I wasn't given chili oil, but be sure to ask for some to adjust the spice level! (Updated review as of March 26, 2022)
