Firenza Pizza - Fairfax

As a fan of topping heavy pizzas, Firenza is the place I was missing for the last 2 years when living in Florida. Their sauce reminds me of the sauce in New York. Their toppings are top notch. I ordered the Firenza specialty pizza with mushrooms and black olives added. It was one of the best pizza decisions I've made in the last 25 years. I ordered online for a 3:00pm pickup and arrived a few minutes early. The pizza was ready almost on the dot of 3pm, so no need to arrive early like me.

I just ordered a regular pepperoni pizza w/ spicy traditional sauce. I got it delivered from Donovan, Best pizza, customer service in Northern VA. Crust is crispy but not greasy with perfect thickness. There is a variety of sauces to choose from and pizza is customizable with an array of toppings. There is something for everyone.

The pizza is cooked in a brick oven with fresh toppings and a delicious sauce that strikes a perfect balance between tangy and not overly spicy. It's easily among the best pizzas in the area, which is quite an achievement considering the numerous options available. The open kitchen concept is a nice touch, allowing customers to see the pizza-making process. However, one area for improvement would be for management to place a greater emphasis on hygiene practices for their staff, as ensuring cleanliness should take precedence over speed and convenience.

I absolutely love this pizza place! You can customize your own personal-sized pizza with any toppings you desire. They offer a great variety of toppings to choose from. The staff is friendly, and the service is excellent.

The pizza is great, but the service could be better at times. I requested a margherita pizza without basil, and they didn't seem to pay attention to my request.
