Dairy Queen - Fairfax

Live close by we really like the food ect. there.Today is 4/24/22, unfortunately they are still closed.Hope they open soon !

Love the ice cream. Even saw 2 movie stars at this dairy Queen.

After 15 minutes I had the audacity to politely ask for my order. A 16 year old boy said it takes a while you know, then the cook came out and said we have had a large order, I said in an calm voice again but I just wanted to be sure because I’ve had situations in my life where I took 45 minutes or more for an order and the order was actually forgotten. I acted politely from the very beginning and was treated rudely by the staff.

By the time my food was done my blizzard had melted. Very disappointed.

I've tried this Dairy Queen three times now, hoping to like it since it's conveniently close. Unfortunately, each time has been disappointing. The Blizzards were more like soup, and the burgers were messy and soggy. I saw a car get two dipped cones, and both were already melting down the sides. We ordered a chicken basket with onion rings and a milkshake, but they forgot our food order and we had to wait 15 minutes after getting our drinks at the window—despite being the only customers there! When I finally got my food, I was shocked to find only four onion rings, no toast, and a half scoop of gravy. We ordered six chicken strips and that was all I got! I will not be returning; instead, I’ll drive to the Marion location and wait in their parking lot. The staff there have things organized, and they always manage to get the ice cream treats right. It's always a letdown at this Fairfax location.
