Derby City Pizza Co. - Fairdale

We wanted to try the new Derby City Pizza (formally Fairdale Pizza) since it had switched hands. We ordered hot ham and chese sandwiches and the Italian sandwiche. The sandwiches are just plain sandwiches, no lettuce, tomato, mayo, marina sauce or Italian dressing. Our server, Jennifer was able to bring us some lettuce and tomatoes they use for salads and packs of mayo. Otherwise very dry and ordinary sandwiches. Next time I'll try the pizza and see if it's as good as Bearino's.

On the way home from our conquest of Nashville my crew and I became hungry for pizza! This place did not disappoint! It worth getting off the freeway to eat here. Rejoice tiny humans and eat away!

Locally owned and operated....amazing pizza, definitely worth trying if you've never been. They have a full bar on site, a huge covered back deck and games. They host Louisville Poker Tour here as well for those who like Texas Hold'em
