Steak 'n Shake - Fairborn

Ordered on the app and had to wait 20 minutes before getting my food. Literally, people came in and ordered on the kiosk and got their food first. Don't mean to be harsh to the staff as the food was good. Hopefully, improvements can be made to the app.

You're a new computer way of accepting orders sucks. I tried to pay with cash and the machine did not function correctly at all. It said followed directions on the screen but it did not give me an option for cash all it wanted was my credit card I'm not gonna use my credit card to buy a freaking Hamburger. But that's OK you don't have to worry about me ever coming in to steak and shake again. And I will tell others.

Took 40.min to get order. Onion rings so oily you cold squeeze the grease out of them.milk shakes were runny and we finished before we got our dinners. It was filthy sticky floors. Dirty tables, and good heaven the restrooms I wouldn't have let a homeless person use.

The steak and shake really made our night. We had an issue with a gift card that we had received for Christmas from my father... We had the customer copy receipt showing that it should have $35 on it, but something appears to have been messed up at the store he purchased it from. Since discovering that took some time, they had already made our food and they offered to just give it to us. So they gave us time to sort out the gift card issue and are completely fine with us calling them back with the payment. What extreme kindness...it went beyond our expectations.

Downward spiral since covid. The kiosks are ok, but lack of personal touch just make it another fast food joint and an over priced one at that. Prices haven't changed but serving sizes are down by at least a third.
