Steak 'n Shake - Fairborn

Completely unacceptable. Every table was dirty, the floor hadn't been cleaned and was sticky, trash cans were overflowing, the bathroom had a terrible odor and was out of soap and paper towels, and both the countertops and drink machine were filthy. To make matters worse, the milkshake machine broke right after we placed our order. I can't understand how the health department hasn't closed this establishment. Save your money and eat somewhere else. I will definitely not be returning.

A friend and I had a late dinner last night, on Monday. The atmosphere was calm, and the music wasn't too loud. We ordered grilled cheese, a steakburger, fries, and onion rings, all of which were generous portions and served hot, fresh, and flavorful. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by the chilly dining room. The air conditioning always seems to be too cold during summer evenings. I recommend bringing a sweater just in case you need it.

The food was delicious and served hot, but the environment could use some improvement. We had to clean the table and chairs before we could sit down, and the floors needed sweeping as some areas were sticky. It seemed like they were short-staffed during our visit, so I chose not to complain. I can relate to the challenges of working with limited staff.

Ordered on the app and had to wait 20 minutes before getting my food. Literally, people came in and ordered on the kiosk and got their food first. Don't mean to be harsh to the staff as the food was good. Hopefully, improvements can be made to the app.

You're a new computer way of accepting orders sucks. I tried to pay with cash and the machine did not function correctly at all. It said followed directions on the screen but it did not give me an option for cash all it wanted was my credit card I'm not gonna use my credit card to buy a freaking Hamburger. But that's OK you don't have to worry about me ever coming in to steak and shake again. And I will tell others.
