Safeway - Fairbanks

I overheard two different conversations between employees using curse words and yelling about the previous employee's actions or lack thereof. This made me feel uncomfortable, like the restaurant was unclean and not safe. I found it unexpected for a place in Fairbanks.

The restaurant offers a good variety of items, but could improve by offering a wider selection of beers.

We stopped in for a quick bite before our flight and decided to order a sub from their deli. The man working behind the counter put a lot of effort and pride into making my sandwich. At the time, I was in a rush and didn't fully appreciate it, but as I ate the sandwich, it was clear how delicious it was and how much effort he had put into it. It ended up being the best part of my day.

Not sure what to say. It's Safeway. Clean, efficient, and standard.

Only in fairbanks, the checker eats cheetos while he scans my things. but maybe they're so short that he didn't have lunch?
