Northern Latitudes - Fairbanks

We enjoyed a fantastic buffet breakfast with a wide variety of options. The reindeer sausage on the menu was particularly delicious. The seating is organized, and the restaurant is conveniently located inside the Westmark Hotel. We received excellent service, with a special shout-out to our waitress, who was incredibly knowledgeable and full of information. She was genuinely pleased to see us when we mentioned we were from Maryland, as she was originally from there too.

Parking: There is plenty of free parking available on both sides of the hotel. Since many guests are on cruise tours, they typically don't occupy much of the parking space.

I just arrived from Denali on a coach, checked in, and made my way to the restaurant. We were warmly welcomed by our server, Irina, who greeted us with a big smile and offered great dinner recommendations. For appetizers, we had the Caesar salad and salmon chowder, both of which were delicious starters. For the main course, I ordered the halibut served on a bed of onions, which came with a generous portion of rice and vegetables. We finished our meal with a delectable apple pie drizzled with caramel sauce and a gluten-free rhubarb strawberry cheesecake that my wife absolutely loved. The cheesecake was made on site. If you have dietary restrictions, you'll be happy to know that there are about ten gluten-free options on the menu, making it suitable for any hungry traveler.

Great breakfast! The buffet items were plentiful hot if necessary staff attentive to maintaining the buffet. The bacon and sausage THE BEST! Plenty of bread items, fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt, oatmeal, etc. Would definitely come back!
