East Ramp Wood Fired Pizza - Fairbanks

This restaurant is an excellent spot for enjoying local cuisine. The pizza is outstanding, with a well-balanced sauce and hand-tossed crust. It's conveniently located on the private airport side of Fairbanks International Airport, making it perfect for aviation enthusiasts. Additionally, it's very kid-friendly, offering airplane-themed activities for children to enjoy.

This restaurant has a unique atmosphere, featuring a great view of an airport where you can watch numerous Cessnas and smaller planes take off and land. The decor is quite fascinating, with vintage props and seating in the waiting area sourced from an old airliner. They also have a large wood-fired oven that produces excellent pizza. My only drawback from the visit was the temperature inside; it was quite warm, around 90°F, during our stay.

This place makes you feel like family. Don’t be afraid to order something other than pizza because whatever you order will be on point.

Amazing place, where you can have great pizza while looking at planes take off and land! You make your own composition of toppings for the pie it took a second to wrap our minds around it, but the super friendly staff made it very enjoyable. Highly recommend! Note: a lot of stairs to get up there!Food: 5/5
