Diner - Fairbanks

When I travel, I prefer to steer clear of commercial food establishments, so I was delighted to find this traditional diner that truly exceeded my expectations. The local cuisine here is a perfect way to start the day. I tried the delicious rinderhahn omelette, which was so good that I might have added a few months to my life—or at least that’s what it felt like!

We eat here every weekend, and it’s always consistently great food, excellent service, and well worth it.

We're so glad we decided to try this place! It has an authentic diner atmosphere, and the food was delicious! I especially enjoyed the historical pictures on the walls.

That is a typical diner. we came here on the recommendation of the visitor center. we said they had a good cod sandwich. we couldn't find it on the menu, but the server knew what we talked about and said, "the fish sandwich". that was waiting a little longer than I would have wished. but the sandwich was delicious! the fish itself was beautiful and the brot on it crispy. the brot and the sweet were good. they were nice too. not much of a crowd, but they had their masters who all knew with names: but it didn't like so much that I would come back if I visited fairbanks again.

The food was pretty good. Our waitress seemed perturbed though. Being our first time in Alaska we wanted to try someplace that wasn't touristy. No jewelry shops here! There was also this weird thing parked out front when we arrived. I really don't know if it's an actual warning of some kind or a joke.
