Peacock Indian - Fair Oaks

It took me about 25 minutes to get there in light traffic, but it remains my favorite spot for Indian cuisine. The menu offers a wide variety of options, catering to both vegetarian and non-vegetarian preferences. Dosa Night is fantastic, and the Manchurian sauce is out of this world—don't even get me started on the chili paneer! The staff is friendly and welcoming, while the chefs are quite accommodating. I haven't had a chance to try the buffet yet, but the chicken noodles were made to order and were perfectly seasoned and flavorful.

This restaurant is a favorite throughout the Sacramento area for its Indian cuisine. From the moment you walk in, you'll receive a warm welcome. The extensive menu offers a variety of options to satisfy every taste. My son, who is quite picky, absolutely loves the chicken tikka masala. Personally, I'm a fan of the Chettinadu Chicken, which is incredible if you enjoy a bit of heat in your curry. The flavors in their curries are rich and complex, making it evident that they've been simmering for hours, rather than relying on a generic sauce. I can't recommend this place highly enough. If you're a fan of Indian food, especially South Indian cuisine, you simply must try Amrutha Aappakadai!

This is the best Indian food I've ever had in the United States, and I've dined all over the globe! Lawrence is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and exceptionally hospitable—not to mention very beautiful. The service is excellent!

Authentic Chettinadu food, good customer service, unique menu, reasonable price are all factors that have made us frequent customers. We love the weekend buffet and dosa night. Your dinner by the sea is a treat for seafood. Keep the good work!!! We look forward to being there soon
