Albergo Faido

We were here on the way to Italy. beautiful village to make a stop. the waterfall is beautiful! we had an excellent dinner here. we can recommend the pizza, tagliata and cordon bleu. a change was made with the smile of the very friendly and helpful lady who spoke perfectly English. I look forward to the breakfast tomorrow

Found me randomly in this beautiful mountain village that needed a place to stay and discovered this newly opened hotel. the restaurant has not been opened yet, but had a great pizza in the bar and then one of the most convenient nights ever in one. hotel

This is a hotel for those who don't care too much about luxury and unnecessary extras. we spent the night here on the way from the lowlands to italia. we slept here until about ten years ago twice a year, then sold the. owners the place and it became too expensive. in this year we have landed here again. we are a family with two teenagers up to today 17 14 . we have booked the family room with a lock bed and two singles. the room no. 23 was spacious enough with an additional sofa bed and a small table. we played games, went to dinner in the small village and slept well in the night. the breakfast was very simple, but we asked for more bread and it came, we asked for hot chocolate and brought it right away. not complaining here. the staff was very friendly and overall! price of 77 € we are the last to complain. especially in Switzerland! excellent for the price they paid us and no, it is not modern. the bathroom looks dated and without luxurious shallows, but towels are clean and dry good; we just enjoyed the fact that it still looked like 10 years ago.

Duur, uderwets waar de tijd is blijven stilstaan. ik had een kamer voor 4 persons reserveerd en kregen de conferentieruimte waar de tafels aan de kant be en en en enkele bedden be plaatst. onvriendelijke ontvangst. pover ontbijt, veel last van vlies.

We have spent a very nice evening in albergo faido. the 3 floor menu for 22.- fr (!) was absolutely top. everything was very delicious and authentic, with a very attentive and friendly service although the restaurant was very well filled. free appetizer from the kitchen. good portion size. we felt very comfortable and like to come back!
