Skansen - Faerjestaden

The hotel is stunning. The lunch was very good, or you can pamper yourself with a half-day booking at the spa - it's fantastic!

Although this beautiful wellness hotel on the Swedish island of Öland has a magnificent history, it now appears a bit worn out, including the employees. During our recent visit, we enjoyed a lunch of fresh shrimp sandwiches with some German friends. The food was of good quality, but the service from the staff was indifferent. Unfortunately, the whisky museum was closed during our visit, but we still recommend it for a tour. It is always best to call ahead before visiting.

The restaurant has excellent food and a lovely ambiance.

Great jacuzzi in the outside and good service as well as great massage. But a little lack of conveniance due to the service around spa and drinks in the garden and in the jacuzzi outside. A glass prosecco was not served but seemed to be in the ner future!
