The food was incredible, the bar staff were friendly, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. I had the pleasure of speaking with Carmen, who was delightful and ensured that my visit to the restaurant was enjoyable.

Best quiz in Exeter, always a good time!! Bar staff and quiz master are so lovely and they’ve made the black horse my go to quiz bar.

Great service from the start with email communication about the booking and preorder for a group of 14. They didn’t ask for a deposit which I found a pleasant change. Food arrived quickly for the short time we had and everyone enjoyed their meals ranging from toastie to pie and burgers. Thank you we will be back.
