Pret A Manger - Exeter

Thank you Marcus for the best coffee I've had in a long time! The oat milk was perfectly steamed, which is a rare find. The service was prompt and the atmosphere was friendly. There is nothing better for a great start to the day.

Disappointed that when I chose to sit in, my food and drink was served in takeaway packaging. I paid £5.50 for the toastie alone, only for it to be given to me in a paper bag, without any utensils. Personally, I didn't enjoy the food or the experience of sitting in as much because of this.

Rude stuff The fat lady she have horrible character

You pay extra to sit in despite still having a takeaway cup and no plate and no service. Tables are often dirty as customers clear their own tables but tables aren't wiped. Batistas are rude and blunt to customers waiting for drinks. Probably alright for a quick coffee on the go but not if you want to sit in for a nice coffee and chat with a friend. Prices are similar to independents but with an independent you get fat better service and a nicer atmosphere. Food is tasty but not worth the price and the coffee is mediocre

My friend and I both had egg and cress sandwiches along with a cup of Earl Grey tea at Pret a Manger. We sat in the downstairs seating area and caught up after not seeing each other for over a year. We had a relaxed atmosphere for over an hour and I had never been to a Pret a Manger before, but now I can say I have!
