Yumi Japanese Restaurant Bar Excelsior

The menu is overpriced for sushi. I've got just salmon and tuna rolls, but I had more rice than fish. The server forgot about our appetizer, the selection of food is really small. They have specials rolls that many other guests choose to order but I didn't find anything that I like. Left hungry as I had 90% of food untouched. Well, my hungry husband had no desire to go to another place, so he finished that food.

My husband and I went tried out their maki sushi because we heard great things about them. First, their rolls are very thick and fills your mouth completely. I very much enjoyed the feeling, although you can ask for thinner slices if you want. So far, I have been here twice and really enjoyed their maki rolls. Normally, I like to eat a lot but an order of calamari and 3 rolls was enough food for my husband and me. The chefs are Hispanic and have great personality. Our

I was truly impressed by this restaurant. Each bite had generous pieces of fish. I recommend sitting at the sushi bar; it's always enjoyable to chat with the chefs.

The sushi was fantastic! However, the staff could improve their engagement with guests. We only saw our waitress when she took our order and again to collect our payment. There was no other communication during our visit.
