Contribuiți la feedbackWe stayed one night at the Marriott Courtyard. The staff was very pleasant and efficient checking us in. We requested highest floor available, and were given a room on the top floor. The room was very clean and in great condition. It was also very quiet.
We were in Princeton for a sports event, and traveling with our dog. This was an easy spot just ~20 minutes south of the university with easy access on and off the highway. The room was spacious, well lit, and had all the amenities we needed. We were at first worried to be placed across the elevator, but noise (on a Saturday night) was almost non existent. We had dinner delivered from a nearby Italian place, which was seamless and speedy. There are lots of large, grassy areas for taking the dog out at night, and stretching legs in the morning. Overall, very pleased with our stay and will definitely book again when in the area.
The Courtyard Ewing Marriott was an amazing place to have our wedding party guests stay for our wedding weekend. Michele Chu was an incredible partner to us helping us to sort through all logistics, answering any and all questions, and helping us when any issues arose. Our wedding guests had positive things to say about the cleanliness and niceness of the rooms and hotel. We would definitely recommend staying here!
Stayed 2 nights. LIKES: Comfortable bed Quiet Reasonable food in restaurant DISLIKES: Carpet on 5th floor (see photos) in desperate need of cleaning Painfully slow elevators Poor room lighting Erratic hot water Towels akin to 150 grit sandpaper SUMMARY: This was a bit of a disappointment, considering the room rate. No excuses for the carpeting, but it also goes along with some outdated furnishings in the rooms that have seen better days. Two days later, I stayed on the 45th floor of another hotel in Niagara and it took the same time to get to that floor as it did to get to the 5th floor in this Marriott. So while there were a few things to like here, there 's definitely some work to be done.
Was in town for a family wedding and this was the hotel for guests. Being a Marriott was expecting a nice stay. We should have known from the reception from the front desk this was going to be a hotel we should not have chosen. Showed up around 10:45 pm, front desk was unoccupied and no notes or whereabouts of the clerk. I went behind the desk and even walked over to the back room, nothing. Another guest arrived and called the desk, the phone rang and rang until finally the clerk showed up. Seemed to be annoyed that we interrupted whatever they were doing. Very cold reception, not a hello, welcome or anything, just ID, phone number and handed us our room key. As we were staying for the wedding did not even get a reception bag, my wife had to ask for it. Again, very cold not even enjoy your stay and thanks for choosing us. This is why I prefer Hilton when I have a choice very friendly and always greet you with a smile. Obviously, Marriott skimps on customer service, not the first time I have dealt with cold clerks from them. Got to our room and had a very musty smell so we opened the window. Upon checking through the room, we found what looked like mold on the ceiling, a door for the dresser with no handle and a red stain of some sort on the rug. The tub/shower stall had extra hair still in it and the tub floor looked like it needed a good scrubbing. Since the hotel was full, we didn’t have much recourse. Reported the issues to the morning clerk and they said they would contact the engineer. Don't know if they ever came to the room but nothing changed before we checked out on Sunday. Overall, a very dated hotel who needs a facelift and a good cleaning. Overall a very subpar experience from this chain.
