Authentic Smith Island Bakery Cake The cake came in perfect condition The cake was moist and the boiled fudge frosting was delicious The boiled fudge frosting is what makes this cake different than all the other Smith Island cakes and the fact that it is made on Smith Island and by the hands of a Smith Island with all the history that Smith Island holds confusing You Smith Island Bakery not with Smith Island Backfirma both cakes are good, but I think this cake is a spotlight especially the rest of Smith Island Bakery on Smith Island, Ewell ,MD.

Flying by boat to Smith Island and docking at Bakery. Darren and his family were the most hospitable! They helped us rent a golf cart and crabs for dinner. And the cake is amazing. We brought four back for friends and family. Loved the chocolate peanut butter and the chocolate with chocolate, but we liked the lemon and orange even more! And let the coconut die! I think the orange with chocolate as a top icing would be an interesting combination! Thanks for the great experience.

Wow! You want the best cake in Maryland? Smith Island Bakery is the place. Amazing staff and great products. They also have local artists in their storefront. Would highly recommend for a delicious treat. Thanks for the delicious cake.

What a little gem! We tried Smith Island cake from a couple of different places during our trip and theirs was by far the best! (Chocolate covered strawberry and blueberry cream... yum! . Such a nice family that was so nice and helpful with suggestions for our weekend too!
