Flavorful and moist, and something I will surely get again. The bulgogi was sort of like a loose stew, and it was great as well. The sides were tasty, am I am not sure what a couple of them were. I will ask on my next visit. The tables were two tops, and there are six of them. Everything was clean and comfortable. Recommended!
Best take out Korean food I've had so far in Hawaii. I'm white so I know a thing or 2. Karen is my wife so be careful.
I went there for lunch, and the place was very nice and clean. It’s primarily a takeout spot, although they do have some seating available. It’s not the typical dine-in restaurant I expected. The food was decent; the flavors were good but nothing exceptional. I tried the spicy rice cakes, which were quite soupy. The fish egg soup base was delicious, although the fish eggs themselves were a bit dry. The seafood cakes were delightful and became one of my favorite dishes there. The bibimbap was just okay. I would consider returning for certain dishes, but if you’re looking for a full Korean dining experience, this might not be the right place for you.
A friend brought this dish to me while I was recovering from COVID, and I've been craving it ever since. The tofu jjigae was the best I've had in a long time. Their bonchon is excellent as well, and the portions are quite large—one order is definitely enough for at least two meals!
