Da Mexican Huli Huli - Ewa Beach

I'm from southern California and I think it's the most authentic Mexican food in all of Oahu. I tried El Ranchero and didn't think much of it. At Huli Huli, they don't give you limes, but they don't skimp on the onions and cilantro and their salsa has a cute little kick to it. I normally order the carne asada taco plate. Would recommend to all.

Was excited to finally eat the food that smells so good while driving by. Ordered the 3 taco plate and 2 taco plate with chicken. Chicken was very good but I was underwhelmed with the actual tacos. The beef tacos were very under flavored. I?ll stop for some chicken but not the steak tacos. Also the rice and beans were not that good kind of flavorless. The taco shells had quite a bit of grease on them too.

Ordered the Asada Tacos with The Mexican Mango Shaved Ice Drink. Very Delicious made with simple ingredients but still enjoyable. Cost.. around $15.

Ordered street tacos got absolutely nothing on them except meat.

Perfect amount of food for refueling after a surf session. The beans and rice had just the right amount of spice to compliment the asada tacos and the shells were fresh to death. 5 stars, ten fingers, and a thumbs up!
