We wandered in to this place after strolling around Evora. We had a fantastic dinner very fresh green salad that we liked so much we ordered a second one! Then had the special duck rice which was outstanding. We tried a couple of traditional desserts and they were delicious as well as a bottle of wine the recommended this lace had a nice atmosphere, very reasonable prices and great service!

I just wanted to have a nice meal with my friends, but suddenly the owner started yelling at a poor worker. I could see the lack of civility and education in that person, and it was humiliating and embarrassing to be in such a chaotic environment. We just wanted to try the so-called 'good Alentejo humor and traditional food ', but after this situation, the food no longer tasted like anything. This is a restaurant I won 't be coming back to when I 'm here again.

11 out of 10. Wow! Fantastic food and friendly, great service. We had the starters, bread cheese olives, all amazing, and the warm salad of asparagus and mushrooms, which was phenomenal. Then we had the hot plate of wild meats, most excellent, perfectly cooked and salted, so tasty, served with wonderful little green salad, delicious fries, and an amazing little bowl of rice. Beyond beyond. Everything was so so remarkable.
