The Grind - Everettville

Anni did an amazing job helping us find what we needed, recommending things for us to try, and doing it all with a smile and great attitude! We got the cappuccino, iced coffee, chocolate chip cookie, and two breakfast sandwiches. We saw the cookie and went “ooohhh ahhhh” because they were so massive. Whoever is baking there needs a raise! Because this is the best cookie I’ve ever had. Yum, yum! The sandwiches were very delectable with flavorful bacon, and the coffee was just right. Definitely stop by the Grind, and if Anni is there, tell her how great of a job she is doing.

4 different times I’ve found hair in my food, 4. It’s absolutely disgusting. I bought three sandwiches today and paid thirty dollars and threw them out because yet again I found hair in my food. I’m truly appalled by this. This will be my last chance given to this establishment.

Always great coffee and the bagel sandwiches always hit the spot ! Sometimes the cafe fills up but is always such a cozy

My husband adored their bagel breakfast sandwiches. I loved the oatmeal with fancy mix ins. Kids loved the muffins. Staff were friendly and helpful. They made our young kids hot cocoa that was a reasonable temperature for them to drink instead of piping hot even though I forgot to ask for it that way (thank you! . Only downside is that there is just one toilet, so if that’s a concern for you, plan accordingly.

Stopped for a quick service breakfast and coffee on a trip back to Chicago from DC. It was perfect and just the place we needed. Friendly staff, great coffee, with vegan and gluten-free food options that hit the spot. 10/10 highly recommend.
