I tried so many Taquerias outside my home of the RGV and nobody seemed to get it right until Loma Bonita. I will definitely be here regularly when they have me, because that's the best I had left home.
Delicious! They loved their tortah: had a toilet room and a water cooling station. Large salsa and unique decoration.
Excellent choice but be aware the chicken is marinated in chili peppers and jalapenos come in burritos by default. Add some amazing salsa and this is the spiciest Mexican experience I've had in this state; possibly on this coast. So good we eat here at least once a week!
Fantastic little taqueria! All the food is good here but the street tacos are to die for!!!! The staff is always kind and they have a side room for bigger groups.
It’s very much... ok. Salsa Verde (green) uses green food dye and the jalapenos taste old. Rice is nearly flavorless and the pieces are all broken whereas the chicken is overly salty. Chicken tastes like they added chicken stock powder to the chicken. There’s not much crema here at all — only lightly coated. Avocado wasn’t ripe and it was hard. This also wasn’t fully peeled. The beans were gritty and some chunks were dry. Their tortillas are also just store bought. Easier than cooking, maybe.
