Toshi's Teriyaki - Everett

The beef teriyaki was excellent, but neither my roommate nor I enjoyed the chicken.

I understand that businesses are facing challenges during these unprecedented times, but given the current circumstances, I won't be returning. Having worked in the food industry for several decades, including at award-winning restaurants, I would also advise against using that particular cut of beef. It's not well-suited for teriyaki dishes, which is why traditional Japanese teriyaki restaurants avoid it. If you look into what others use, you'll find that they often opt for less expensive cuts because they're tougher, but the marinade tenderizes the meat, allowing for larger portions. This approach benefits everyone involved. I hope this feedback is clear. I apologize if it's not, as I'm still feeling a bit hungry.

New ownership. Toshiis was once renowned for having some of the best teriyaki in town. Unfortunately, it seems the new management hasn't received proper training from the previous owners. The teriyaki lacked flavor, which was disappointing. I hope they improve over time because this restaurant used to have an outstanding reputation!

I'm giving one star cause it was real beef,and not that shredded dogfood everyone else is passing off.my first time back in 25,years,got half the meat or less rice was cheap not jasmine dry over cooked(went in garbage all of it) they saturated it in a thin sauce Wich made it worse 2 meals almost$30 and in the end all we got was few bite of meat the horrible rice and some lettuce in the trash what a rip off never again ,I use to eat their 5days a week.place was very dirty and stunk of dirty grill smoking

Flavorless food. The can of tea purchased that says 99 cents printed on it and he charged me 3.79. I paid almost 40$ just for a small yakisoba lunch and a small appetizer and a tea.
