Chicken N Salsa - Evansville

My boyfriend I have gone 2 times now. It is just a couple blocks from our home which makes it incredibly convienent. Both times we’ve ordered the Chicken Taquitos as an appeztizer. They are delicious! The queso is excellent. So far we have tried the Chicken on the Beach, Locos burrito(I think that’s the name, dont remember), Chicken Chimmichanga Shrimp Enchiladas all with rice beans. Everything was very good. All of it was hot and fresh when they brought it out. Haven’t tried the frozen margaritas yet, but we both had a margarita on the rocks and they were awesome. On top of the delicious food drinks, service was great and VERY reasonable prices!!!! Will be back many more times I would suggest it to anyone reading this. #SupportLocalBusiness

Food is very good. I have been there twice. I had chicken on the beach the first time and it is now my favorite version of that. Second time I had fiesta burritos, 1 steak and 1 chicken burrito, and it was fantastic. Their cheese dip is excellent. Their salsa is not my favorite but isn't bad either. I will be coming here often and you should to.

This hidden gem in the Evansville community is known as Chicken 'n Salsa. This Mexican restaurant offers a diverse menu with unique items not found in other Mexican establishments in the area. I was intrigued by the street tacos, which included beef tongue and beef tripe. Although the names may be off-putting to some, the beef tongue was surprisingly delicious. I ended up ordering the steak and eggs, which were cooked perfectly to my liking. The home fries were a delightful addition to the meal, crispy and piping hot. In addition to traditional Mexican dishes, Chicken 'n Salsa also offers American-style options for those craving something different. The service was exceptional, with attentive staff ensuring that I always had everything I needed. I stumbled upon this place by chance, but I am grateful that I did. I will definitely be returning in the future.
