Contribuiți la feedbackArazu is a true gem in Evansville. Every time I've visited, the food has been exceptional and the service has been swift. Today, we were seated in their downstairs area, which has a speakeasy vibe with its cozy booths and bar. It even features its own wine tasting room. This place is definitely worth a visit!
My family and friends have enjoyed Cafe Arazu on the Newburgh riverfront for years. When Arazu on Main opened, we were pleased to discover that it boasts many of the favorites from the original location with the addition of a more robust menu. The location (previously The Jungle) is ornate and stunning in design. The staff is friendly, attentive, and helpful ready to help you locate the perfect delicious dish. This is the perfect location to meet for dinner and drinks before a concert at the Ford Center or for lunch with friends.
Arazu is a fantastic Mediterranean-themed restaurant that offers a delightful dining experience. However, be prepared for a bold use of spices and seasonings—if you prefer milder flavors, it might be wise to request that they tone it down a bit. The flavor intensity is comparable to blackened versus seasoned dishes, so keep that in mind. The restaurant itself boasts stunning architecture with impressive ceilings and intricate wall details, making it a lovely place to visit if you're in Evansville (EVV). I tried the steak skewers and the traditional beef and lamb kabob, and we also shared a gyro flatbread appetizer. Everything was absolutely delicious!
This is a lovely restaurant that’s perfect for dinner with friends or even when dining solo. I recommend trying the sheesh-leek, which consists of delicious lamb chops; I had them cooked medium, and they were tender and flavorful. Don’t miss the Shepherd's platter, featuring baba ganoush, hummus, and feta cheese. If you're looking to explore new flavors, this is an excellent place to start!
Arazu is an absolutely delightful Mediterranean restaurant. Just a heads-up: they use a lot of spices, so if you’re not a fan of bold flavors, you might want to ask them to tone it down a bit. The difference is like comparing blackened to simply seasoned. The restaurant itself is stunning, featuring beautiful ceilings and intricate wall details. It’s definitely a must-visit if you’re in Evansville. I ordered the steak skewers and the traditional beef/lamb kebab, and we also tried the gyro flatbread. Everything was delicious!
