Contribuiți la feedbackIt's always a pleasure to be in this cafe and the ice coffee is superb. Great atmosphere in a quiet neighborhood.Parking: Depending on the time of day parking is usually available.
The most neighborly place in the area. As a recent grad, I realized how many special memories this place holds for me. It’s a great place for reading, meeting up with friends or simply enjoying some personal time. I hope one day my kids will get to experience the comfort and cosiness of this place and PEOPLE.Food: 5/5
Classic spot with great coffee. used books to browse and games. Loyal local following.Update...BUT ...what happened to the baked goods? When you have donuts or muffins they sell out quickly and people keep in coming in for coffee and look for a snack to enjoy. The banana bread and pumpkin bread are long gone, as are Lucky Platter's flakey pastries. The only consistent snacks are packaged cookies, and mediterranean pies. You have a loyal clientele. Can you connect with a baker in Evanston or wherever and make it yummy for your coffee connoisseurs? This place was vibrant after the Bros took over. Now it feels like a shell. Please do better. It's sad if I have to cross Bros K off my list.
This coffee shop is more like a second home for the local people. The food/drinks, and atmosphere never let me down.Food: 5/5
I go here like once every two months hoping for a better experience but I’m sadly disappointed. The coffee is inconsistent and not the best. The service seems to be good if you’re a regular. I ordered a hand pie and waited about 15 mins when the asked if I needed something else. They forgot to warm it up so I waited an additional 10 minutes after I told them. They then hand me a hit hand pie in a wax sleeve which I almost burned my hand on. Staff is too busy gossiping then being friendly and doing there job. It wasn’t busy and no one was in front of me in line.
