Hoosier Mamma shut cut off Thanksgiving orders a month out. Here I found pies as good or better and they have the logistics figured out too. Their slogan in Evanston can be, 'Who 's Your Pie Daddy? '

Wonderful addition to my neighborhood. It's the perfect place to settle in and get some work done while sipping a tasty latte and nibbling on a tasty treat. The next time you have the urge to go to Starbucks, try First Slice instead.

The pie is great! Some of the sandwiches are not as great. Come for the pie. Stay for the free water.

The pies are excellent and the Hip Hop Salad is amazing.

Best pie in the city!
