Don Pedro's Family Mexican - Evanston

I'm doing this whole review, but... not lying, I was a bit disappointed tonight with dinner. I ordered a selection plate online that confirms it when my man go to get the food, and he was told that they never get the order that is a lie, it says on the website of order they need to confirm manually. he was waiting for the food for almost two hours, and then he was told that they had not passed the order. he said he had to go, they called me to send him back. that they had that and it was ready. he went back to get the food and when he brought it home, it didn't look very appetizing, it was soggy, looked like it was badly thrown together, and they stiffened me for the side I paid. has not even offered a discount or something for inconvenience or squeezed around. totally super disappointed by today's experience. probably not be back for a good time?.

Never got our food after waiting for almost 2 hours. Still charged us for our margaritas. Will never go there again. Worst eat outexperience of our lives! I can’t even give them 1 star. The least they could have done was comp our drinks.

The young man who seated us and initially got us our drinks was very attentive. However, our server was not. She had to be flagged down to refill our drinks. At one point she took my husband's drink cup to fill it and returned it to the table behind us instead of to my husband. So then we had to flag her down again to get him a new drink. At that point I asked her for some sour cream and she never returned to our table. We flagged down the young man who had seated us and he brought me some sour cream, refilled our drink and then brought us our ticket. Our server also never refilled our chips, salsa or bean dip. The food was good, but except for the young man who helped us, the service from our very poor. We are from out of town, but have eaten there before and at the location in Heber, Ut. But we probably won't return to this location.

We eat Mexican foods very frequently. Don Pedro’s is some of the best The mole was very well done; the huevos rancheros we’re excellent. Great chips. Marvelous salsa. Tasty margaritas. Highly recommend! Loved the staff, too.

We had a party of 6 people, getting the food was a little slow but they kept us refilled on drinks until it came! We got the big platter that they offer for $50 and it fed all of us to the point we are stuffed! Whenever we are in Evanston, we stop in for some dinner! Good Place to eat!!!
