The Outpost Restaurant, Bar, Pizza, And Carry-out Liquor Sto

The outpost, Should be called the outhouse. Owner is a drunk cant run a kitchen to save his life. Food is all frozen garbage. Get a better looking Bartender, with a better attitude. Eureka needs to do better.

We visited the steak fry event and had a pleasant experience. The staff was friendly, and the steaks were delicious. Overall, it was a nice dinner with a relaxed, VFW-like atmosphere. You can choose the type of steak you’d like, and they’ll call your name when it’s ready. After that, you go through a line where you can select a side salad, baked beans or green beans, and a baked potato. There’s also a bar available if you’d like to order drinks.

We went out with friends and had an incredibly disappointing experience! Three of us ordered the brisket dinner, and the brisket was almost entirely fat. The potato salad and macaroni and cheese were unappetizing as well. One friend ordered the cheese fries, and they tasted like they had been fried in old grease. To top it all off, the service was terrible! We couldn’t get anyone to check on us or refill our drinks. When we finally asked for the bill, the server didn’t even remember what we ordered! Seriously? We definitely won't be returning and advise others not to waste their time or money here!

We visited for steak night and placed our order around 5:30 PM. We checked in twice to see how our order was progressing, and both times were assured it would be ready soon. Finally, around 7 PM, after waiting an hour and a half, my husband asked again. One staff member claimed they had called our name, which they hadn’t, and another said they were just starting to prepare our steaks. They didn't appear to be that busy, so it was surprising our food wasn't ready much sooner. Meanwhile, our friends who ordered from the regular menu received their meals promptly. Ultimately, we asked for a refund and will not be returning. The service was absolutely terrible. We can't even rate the food since we never received our order.

A group of us visited the Outpost for the first time, and Brittany provided excellent service. We all ordered the tenderloins, which were some of the best we've ever had. They were also hosting a steak fry, which seemed to be quite popular. If you check their Facebook page, you'll find a list of all their specials. We will definitely be returning!
