When I pointed it out, she tried to suggest it was something other than hair! She didn’t even offer me a new plate, which was really disappointing. The restaurant was crowded, so we had to sit outside, and the waitress only returned to give us the check. To top it off, she still charged us for the plate I didn’t even touch and even asked if I wanted a takeout box! It was such a gross experience!
I can only speak about the breakfast, but we visit frequently! They serve large plates of pancakes, eggs, ham, bacon, and sausage. Plus, you can enjoy unlimited coffee. The service is friendly, and I've noticed many local friends and even the County Supervisor dining there on weekends. It's a fantastic local spot!
The food arrived in just a few minutes, which was both surprising and impressive. I ordered the French toast, along with eggs and bacon. However, my scrambled eggs were served in a strange, crepe-like form and weren't particularly enjoyable. My husband opted for a make-your-own skillet, which seemed unusual when it arrived. Firstly, it wasn't a baked skillet but rather food served on a skillet-shaped plate. Secondly, the ingredients in his skillet were layered together in a rather odd way. This quick service, combined with the peculiar presentation, makes me suspect that they operate more like a cafeteria or buffet, with all the food pre-prepared and simply plated up. I don’t necessarily consider this a bad approach, but I do feel that I paid a premium price (over $15 for my French toast) for what felt like cafeteria-style food. I had higher expectations for this establishment. In total, our two meals and one coffee came to $40.
Great breakfast! Large portions and great flavor. I know service is tough for all right now so that would be the only downfall, it was slow service. But in the end, it was worth the wait. Our waitress was also very kind! We will be back when we?re in townagain!
One of the best eggs Benedict?s and waffles I?ve ever had. My husband and I ordered Sunrise Benedict, Country Fried Steak, Belgian Waffle with Lemon Compote, and Blueberry Crepes. The Hollandaise sauce for the Benedict was absolutely some of the bestI?ve ever tasted. And the combination of Belgian waffle, lemon compote, and whipped cream just absolutely melted in yourmouth. The country fried steak was good, not notable though. And we made the mistake of getting whipped cream with hotblueberries on the crepes so the whipped cream melted and left the crepes soggy (which is our fault, not therestaurant?s). Lastly, EVERYONE there was so friendly and our coffees and waters were always topped off.
