Owl Club Steak House - Eureka

If you're traveling on Highway 50 in Nevada, you absolutely have to stop at the Owl in Eureka. I just enjoyed an incredible pastrami burger that left me feeling like I was over the weight limit on my Road King! The food and atmosphere were both fantastic!

The restaurant has a charming, old-fashioned country look, but unfortunately, the food was quite disappointing—it tasted as though they were serving expired items. The prices were also steep for what you received. The service left much to be desired, as the waitresses were quite rude. The bartenders did their best, but they struggled with making drinks; they could definitely benefit from some training or perhaps a change in staff. It was quite frustrating to wait a long time for just a simple beer. I awarded them 2 stars: one for the appealing decor and another for the beer being cold. However, I definitely won’t be recommending this place to anyone.

The prices are not justified by the quality. Additionally, the service leaves much to be desired; the waitstaff were rude and unhelpful. The drinks were mediocre at best, and the bartenders seemed inexperienced. Waiting a long time for a simple beer was frustrating. Overall, I cannot recommend this place.
