Eureka Springs North Arkansas Railway

A delightful train journey! The food on the dinner train is tasty, and the overall experience is enjoyable.

The ride was decent. It just goes back and forth without much variation, so I wouldn't really call it a countryside experience. However, the conductor was great, and the scenery was nice.

We did the lunch tour. Although it is a short ride, we enjoyed it very much. Lunch was good, Dessert was good. Clean. Lunch tour has no guide, say, but we saw the engineer/conductor at the Hotel Crescent and he gave us a bit of history with the 100-year-old train. Would recommend.

We took a 2.5-hour tour and had a great time. It was a bit warm for a July afternoon, so I would recommend going in the morning or when it's cooler. The guide was very knowledgeable, which added to the experience. The only downside was that there wasn't as much scenery as we had hoped; most of the trip consisted of trees along the train's side. Overall, it was a good outing.

Very cool place to explore around. We didn't know they had an actual train that ran and would deliver a meal, or we could have gone with this option. I noticed that there is no entering character in the back that clearly does not allow event photography, no wedding photography, no high school photography and no family photography. There was a lot of cool stuff to see on this little piece and we are happy to come back. A lot of history here.
