I ordered tom kha noodle soup with tofu to go. It has a nice flavor but not a single vegetable. It is supposed to have tomatoes and mushrooms. It had exactly 4 little cubes of tofu. It comes in a container that is half the size of other thai restaurants for the same price. Do yourself a favor and go to Thai Time get their tom kha and get a bunch of veggies, protein, and double the amount for the same price. Disappointed.
Food was delicious and came out in a reasonable time. Music was also playing which made the experience overall really good. I got the Panang Curry with pineapple and it was delicious!
If you are considering eating at 5th street eatery in Eugene Oregon, then Thai Spice is a MUST TRY! I stumbled upon Thai Spice and it was sooo worth it! The yellow curry has an even balance of spice and peanut sauce while the steamed rice is fresh. Their portions are perfect. And the ginger tea was great for the overcast day .
Not sure why it’s taken me so long to make a review but I have been nourished by Thai Spice for like 3 years now.I actively resist eating there everyday (so instead I eat there once a week). So freaking good. This is how good: I find myself involuntarily making sounds — literal and audible *moans* — as I eat. I can’t even help it. Every bite is so good, and I eat every bite. I’m sad when my dish is over. (To be clear, I’m not mad about portion size, I’m well aware this is *quality* food and not the freaking HomeTown Buffet).Plus their service is fantastic: friendly and efficient. I’m there all the time, ordering different things and there’s never been a mistake or issue with my order.Thank you Thai Spice! your neighbor Erica
