Certainly not bad; we tried fried noodles with pork, vegetables roasted rice, vegetable rolls, seaweed egg soup and scalion pancakes. It was all good, but not spirit blows (except the scalion pancakes that was very delicious). Note: The fried noodles are not crispy as you might expect, so if you are like me and love crispy things that you might be disappointed. The service was pretty good with our waiter very friendly. It is packed quite quickly and they have a little bit small space; if you are not here after they have opened, you should expect to wait a bit for a table. A nice experience, but I think we prefer the taste of food somewhere else, so I am uncertain when we return.
Delicious authentic cuisine. It's easy to see why this place is busy. The food was always great and the staff is attentive and helpful. The black mushroom salad is one of my favorites.
A friend said it is better than SF Sichuan food, even possibly the best Sichuan food in the USA. It wasn't disappointed. The most remarkable thing for me was water-cooked fish and pigs intestine (two articles were selected among things like beef and pigs kidney). Also the signature Thai (Bubble) tea was great. Seaweed salad was carefully prepared, and Mapo Tofu was also good. Refill free rice. Half the house as left. Essentially $40 plus tips for two meals. 1 mile from the campus, about 25 minutes walk.
I LOVE this place. I live out of town, but whenever I pass through and they're open I stop by. The cumin fish is so good I get cravings for it. The garlic green beans are delightful. The kung-pao chicken is delicious.
