Contribuiți la feedbackLast night, in celebration of my wife's graduation, we really went all out and ordered nearly half the menu. I can attest to how fantastic everything was: both varieties of egg drop soup, three servings of Spicy Boiled Fish (our favorite—it's a must-order every time), Cucumber Salad, Eggplant with Cilantro, two servings of vegetarian Mapo Tofu, Kung Fu Duck, four Green Onion Pancakes, Egg Rolls, Kung Pao Tofu, two servings of Garlic Green Beans (absolutely delicious!), two servings of Broccoli, and Bok Choy. We definitely went overboard, but we have no regrets! Everything was amazing, and all eight of our roommates went back for seconds. It was a truly incredible meal!
Since the pandemic, they never seem to be open. Pick up orders seem to always be fully booked. I have been wanting their food for a year now, sadly. I hope things get better someday, but I'm not optimistic.
This restaurant is conveniently located near our home and is one of our top picks for Chinese food in Eugene. We especially love their mixed vegetables, pan-fried noodles with chicken, and Kung Pao chicken. You absolutely have to try the Kung Pao! It's breaded and coated in a salty-sweet glaze that's a bit crispy, yet full of flavor and tangy goodness. The woman who handles phone orders has the cutest voice and is incredibly kind. While they are currently only offering take-out, the food seems to have improved since they stopped doing dine-in.
This is the best Chinese food I've ever had! Be sure to call for takeout around 4:30 PM if you want to place your order—after that, you might not be able to get anything. It's definitely worth it, even though it's a bit pricey. I would recommend it 100%!
Dang this place is so good. I came for the first time ever on my 27th birthday. I love Szechuan food and was excited after hearing glowing reviews from friends. We ordered at least 6 different plates and loved almost all of them! We started with cold beef slices in chili oil and green onion pancakes. Then made our way to Kung Pao chicken (so much flavor!! , Pan fried noodles with pork, green beans (literally my favorite thing ever , a dish with spicy duck, and beef with green onion and onion. I've never been so excited to eat leftovers in my life! Everything was hot and fresh, delicious flavor and nicely presented. The only item we didn't like was the beef with green onions and onions. It was overburden with too many onions and seemed overpriced for the amount we paid. Another thing that turned me off was having to pay for white rice. Most Chinese restaurants will include it with at least one of the dinner entrees that we ordered. It seems essential to have rice with all these rich dishes that I wasn't expected or pleased to have to pay extra. Overall, I can't wait to go back. It isn't easy on your wallet, but this is fine dining Chinese food and I literally salivate thinking about their green beans. You gotta try them!
