Carson Dining Hall - Eugene

This restaurant is an amazing buffet that exceeds my expectations of cafeteria food. The staff is excellent, and they put in a great effort to ensure that everything is cooked properly and served fresh. The variety of dishes offered each day makes it a place that's always worth visiting.

As a student, I really appreciate a dining option that's varied. While all the campus restaurants serve good food, this one offers a taste that's closest to a home-cooked meal. It's also open to the public, so if you're interested in trying it out and aren't a student, you can definitely do so. You can find the menu on the University Living website.

Great food, great service and ok music. Sometimes I don't like the music choice for eating.

The food here is actually pretty good, being that it's the most cafeteria-like dining hall on campus. The hours of service are a little odd, though, and there are awkward breaks between meal times, during which there is not much food available. There's always plenty of seating, even at peak times. Everything is usually very clean, too. It may be somewhat expensive (with a point-based meal plan), but it's worth it most of the time.
