Acorn Community Cafe - Eugene

Wow is the perfect word to describe this restaurant! We enjoyed the best biscuits and gravy, as well as summer hash, that we've had in ages. Seriously, you should definitely check this place out—it’s fantastic!

The brunch menu offered a delightful variety of sweet and savory options. We enjoyed the banana pancakes and the hash, both of which were fantastic! Make sure to add the foraged mushrooms to the hash—they're a must-try. If you're in the mood for coffee, don’t miss the Happy Camper; it's the best coffee drink I've ever had. The service was excellent as well—everyone was friendly, often smiling, and they provided great recommendations.

We had brunch at this restaurant and decided to try the biscuits and gravy, which caught our attention on the menu. We really appreciated the community atmosphere and the pay-it-forward, no-tipping philosophy. While the biscuits and gravy were decent, they didn't leave a lasting impression. Additionally, the service was quite slow.

I would 100% recommend this place to anyone passing through town. The food was great, the servers were nice, and the concept is fantastic.
