Contribuiți la feedbackBeen there one or two time last time I went seen dirt in bottom beer not sure if it came from glass or tap needless to say didn't drink it, left at that point. also a lot of cursing and swearing and patrons talking about being on house arrest and still at bar did not stay long
I was a loyal patron for probably the better part of ten years, back to the days of Kclinger's and the brief moment it was Kokomo's. I used to love this place and the wings (actually I never had anything else for food). My recent visits have been less than ideal. Particularly, the noise! I understand it's a bar. And by some unspoken law, bars have to be loud. But whatever. I avoid off peak hours because this place can get very busy. But my last few visits, Tuesday and Wednesday nights, later in the evening maybe 8 or 9 pm there were only two or three tables. They had an announcer doing trivia over a massive speaker and he was all but shouting. I was seated at the other end and couldn't even think over the yelling. The only tables were seated immediately in front of the announcer and he still felt the need to SCREAM. after he finished his trivia, I thought there would be relief, but I was mistaken. They instantly cranked up the dance music (at this point, maybe only a handful of bar patrons and myself at the table). Barely anybody, and the music was as unreasonably and uncomfortably loud. Not sure if this attracts people during the week or not... It's just not my taste. If you're looking for a place that's just so loud that you can't think, when nobody is there, give them a shot. Otherwise, there are places that care about their customers.
This place is a dive bar type, however, the staff here is excellent and the beer selection is much better than most dive bars. I love going here with my wife on a date night to have a nice night out and meet some locals. So far, we have had the wings here (which were pretty good) and a burger (which was also pretty good). That being said, I love the fact that they have Angry Orchard on draft (I have Celiacs disease, so I can no longer endulge in Miller Lite, Yuengling, etc). They also carry a decent assortments of wine to choose from. The big thing I would recommend, though, is that if you like dive bars, this place is very good. It is a relaxed environment (can get crowded for live entertainment nights) but with good service. The only thing that could get this review from 4 stars up to 5 stars for me is if they had a dart board in the main bar (I used to throw league, but I still like to throw for fun once and awhile).
Our first visit and everything was amazing. We had wings, burgers, and fish and chips. All were excellent. Only complaint would be that they charge .99 for blue cheese and .99 for 6 pcs of celery. Beer was very cold and crisp. Will definitely be back again to try some other items.
The tortilla chips were soggy and had the texture of duct tape! The chicken was fried with fish which I really dislike but I got creative and made it work. On a positive note, the fries were AWESOME, and the service was good.
