The first time, I ordered the chili con carne, which had a strong raw curry powder flavor and low-quality meat with bones. I was unable to eat it despite being very hungry. During my second visit with a group of five people, the waiter only brought out four slices of bread. When I inquired about the missing slice, he rudely said that it wouldn't be needed until the main course arrived. I insisted on having the bread with my main course, and he begrudgingly brought a piece and tossed it on the table. Additionally, when it came time to pay, I noticed that the change I received back was incorrect, leaving me suspicious that he had shortchanged us. I will not be returning to this establishment again.
Very good and tasty cuisine, soups are excellent, their bread, etc. but not desserts: we have tried two, too large quantities of vanilla ice cream and the main ingredient we expect dessert is not so much to serve as dessert ice cream!
I strongly advise this place to all families. The children at the bottom are treated by the gerant, I quote the dogs that must be kept by leaving an absolutely detestable, very unpleasant, impolite and almost violent person. Denounced. I hope this restaurant won't make a long fire. I've never seen this before. I'm always shocked, and all the people around the tables. We left before we were served. Inacceptabl and shameful!
I recently saw cafe of the epices. I had waited for the ordered items and if they contain gluten, as I have a heavy allergy. I also presented a restaurant card with the translation, due to less than perfect flowing, which clearly explains the condition. the waiter (joachim) assured me that my order was completely gluten-free and told me that people like me come to the restaurant. the order was slandered and more important than not prepared for request or promised, which led to a serious allergic reaction. when they visit Brussels and have food allergies, they avoid this restaurant.
The only positive aspect of this restaurant is its convenient location on Square Jourdan. I have been there twice, and my experiences were disappointing. The first time, I ordered the chili con carne and was met with a strong curry powder taste and low-quality meat with bones. Despite being very hungry, I couldn't even finish the meal. During my second visit with a group of five, the waiter only brought four slices of bread to the table. When I asked for more, he rudely stated that it was only necessary to have one slice until the main course arrived. I insisted on more bread when the main course arrived, and he begrudgingly brought one more slice, throwing it on the table. When it came time to pay, I suspected that the change given to us was incorrect. I was not surprised to find that it fell short. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant based on my experiences.
