The Whiskey Bar At The Cascades Restaurant

For me and my wife's first anniversary we ended up coming here to the Stanley for dinner. Had an amazing meal and great drinks.Thank you Zach for the awesome service and saving our anniversary dinner. (For those that want to know how we ended uphere see my review for Dunraven)

If you find yourself in Stanley, be sure to visit this bar. With its fantastic selection and friendly bartenders, it's a classic choice. I suggest stopping by at night to avoid the crowds of tourists - it's quieter and more peaceful. The ambiance is especially beautiful after dark.

Staff was cordial, cocktails were evenly balanced. Higher priced as you might imagine being in such a touristed spot. Didn't feel haunted or off; the vibe and lighting was good.

I'm not the first to say it, but this restaurant has an amazing variety of hard-to-find and rare bourbons, although they are on the pricey side. While there are other places in town that offer Blanton's and similar options for a lower price per serving, the ambiance is great and the bar in the old Stanley is really cool.

My girlfriend and I ended our vacation in Colorado with a stay at the Stanley hotel. We decided to grab a drink at the Whiskey Bar before our dinner reservation and were impressed by the cocktails and service from our bartender, Bill. We liked Bill and the bar so much that we switched our reservation from the dining room to the bar area. My girlfriend enjoyed some delicious cocktails while I tried a whiskey flight handpicked by Bill. He was very knowledgeable and even recommended a scotch for me to try, which was excellent. Overall, we highly recommend stopping by the Whiskey Bar for great ambiance, drinks, food, and service.
