Big Poppa Burgers Chicken Waffles

I have passed this establishment q00s of times and decided to drop in, however the dine in was open only, Too bad going in to dine was closed b/c of Covid-19.The Big Papa Burger was one of the BEST Burgers I have tasted in years, so glad I stopped in..The young lady at the Side Take Out order window was kind courteous, well mannered. THE Burger was cooked to perfection and piled high meat and Dressed on Delicious Toasted Bun. IT CAME WITH BACON, FRIED ONIONS, OVER EASY EGGON TOP. The price was very reasonable and worth every bite. BE SUTE TO STOP IN IF YOUR IN AREA OR COASTING ALONG 4TH HARVEY IT IS WELL WORTH YOUR TIME, POCKETBOOK, AND TASTEBUDS. WHAT A HIDDEN GEM ON THE BESTBANK ..LOL

Great little hole in the wall that I just happened to come across. Burgers were cooked fresh and come fully dressed. Highly recommend the special sauce!!! Would have been a 5 star review but for whatever reason we were not allowed inside. The only other complaint would be that my burger was burnt . Fries are thick potato wedges and seasoned well, again everything is cooked fresh so expect a little wait. Staff was friendly and it was a beautiful day to sit outside and eat.Will try again soon!!!!

Make em say ugh burger was amazing! the hype has surpassed. if you are a no limit records fan and visit nola, you have to pass! only 15 minutes away from the city. the staff was great and the quality of the meat was pointed notch.

The Big Poppa Burger is huge with a taste to match. It was outstanding, great flavor and seasonings, cooked perfectly, just off the grill. Juicy, not greasy. Had the Big Poppa Burger with cheese and fried onions. Got the Big Poppa Sauce on the side (it’s a barbecue sauce, it was good, but I don’t like sauce on my burger) The fries were big steak fries. They were really good, too, but they weren’t very warm and you don’t get many of them, even with a large size. Everyone working there was very friendly and welcoming. They have some kinks to work out in the overall service logistics, since they are newly opened, but they will get there. Food is served pretty quickly but it wasn’t too busy. It is definitely a burger joint you have to hit up. It is well worth a trip to the West Bank! We will be back for another and to try the chicken and waffles too. Thanks Master P!
